So I was at the pet store with my brother yesterday, helping him get set up for a baby beardie, and I saw this Veiled Chameleon for sale, for, $80! (usually about 175 around here).
He is an adult male, and he is mostly an off white with green spots. If he is still there on Sat I might pick him up to add to my every growing "zoo".
This is supper random, but I am excited I just hope he will still be there on sat....

i always loved lizards.. caught a bunch of them when i was a kid, even a couple chameleons.
it never gets old lol.. i was at the dunes a couple years ago in the rhino with my ex, and i got out and chased around a lizard for ten minutes lol. i caught it, but she made me let it go.. i had totally planned on keeping it.

it was a joke, effer -smack-
you should set-up your basement like a little mini desert.. that would rule.

ha that would....however, I want to set it up more like a zoo idea, so i can have all my other critters.
BTW: Just when i decided against the chameleon, i got a wedding card deal from some family friends, with a cheque for $150....destiny? I think so! We are now the proud owners of a Veiled Chameleon

Yeah they are, but I hear they are not a beginners...and since Ive never had a monitor before...but you never know. Was talking to a buddy about possibly opening a small "zoo" idea in the next few years. Just get a house outside of town, and let people come take a look, for like, 2 bucks or something.
