So I am going to be hanging on to my car since it has really bad resale value. The miles are getting up there (87---) and i need to start replace some stuff/catch up on maintenance so this thing lasts me a while... Im planning on getting new shoes for my car since i need some rubber in the summer.. I have snow tires for my stock rims. The only thing is i think one of my rims is a little bent because i have a shake/vibration/shimmy or whatever you want to call it in my steering wheel at highway speed.. Ive had it balanced several times and aligned which helped but the problem is still there.. My suspension components are ok so I am led to believe it is something to do with the rims. (mom's audi had same prob).. and its a good excuse to get new rims haha.. So here is the vision of what it will look like:

After I get my rims my car will be pretty much done the way I want it.. I already have intake+magnaflow on it, the only things i realistically would add after that are

equal length headers
kfx rear sway bar
powerchips ecu upgrade
short throw shift

What I really need is to win a jackpot scratch ticket, then i could just slap a stage 3 turbocharger on it

Have u tried rotating your tires. I had a car that did the same thing once after a balancing and alignment. After a rotation there was no more vibration. Also a broken belt in a tire can cause this and sometimes you cant see that at all.

I have tried that.. I remember hitting a pot hole in high school that was pretty bad and it has done it ever since.. (at LEAST 30,000 mi ago, prob more) I know it is not the tires because it does it when I have both my summer tires on and my winter tires.

Car looks nice.

hitting the jackpot would be nice, but let me tell you STAGE 3 clutch's SUCK ASS for daily drivers. especially if you get caught in traffic. They are meant for being dumped and launching, not normal, everyday shifting.

But then again, if you hit the jackpot, you could just buy another new car for that! 2005 EVO FTW

Not sure what its made of.

KFX performance

kfx is probably the biggest US based aftermarket company around for Kias and hyundais. They sell turbocharging kits, supercharging kits, cams, clutch kits, ECU remapping, lowering kits, suspension parts you name it... This is the only website I have found that has good stuff. there is seoulful racing but they are overseas and i heard they have bad customer service.
