I am trying to find a reasonably priced scope for my Remington .270 win. I have a BSA that only magnafies 4x and that seems pretty useless. Anyone have any suggestions? I would like to keep the price around $100.00.

Willie's right; you will never find a usable/reliable scope for a $100 bucks. Pentax makes some descent, lower priced scopes. Here's one from Sportsman's Guide Warehouse. >>LINK<< You got to spend at least $300 bucks, for a scope you can count on. And even that is still low end optics.

what i recomend is order 3 or 4 different 300$ scopes take them out close to dark or very early morning and set them of a bench rest on SOFT a cloth of sorts as to not scratch them so you can send them back..... and see which one performs the best of the 3-4 and go with that that way you atleast can get the best optics for your $

Yep gotta pay to play. $100 scopes are only good on 22 cals and they still not quite good enough.

I have a nikkon Prostaff 3-9x40 on my .300 WSM, and i picked it up for 99$ at Gander mountain a few years back. It is the competitor to the leuopold VX II. I love that scope, and it's great.

My buddy has a Kahles Helia Csx on his Browning 338 mag. Paid almost $3000 grand(scope alone) for it. Digital light gathering, illuminated dot on target. Basically a civilian, close to night vision scope. Sweet and deadly scope.

Well I`am old and old fashion ! If you cannot see or hit with with a cheaper scope then you dam sure cannot do any better with a high priced model. But you might impress somebody somewhere down the line Just not me.
