That is way to much motor for a golf cart. Make sure you put on some decent roll bars and couldnt hurt to add some five point harnesses and maybe some sort of doors. Just dont want to see you get hurt. Also your going to have to change the tires unless you plan to just spin your tires.

I wanted to do the similar thing to a two seater go cart i got. I have a complete ZR700 EFI set up that i was going to put into my ZR600 but the engines bolt in completely different so i just picked up a ZR600 EFI for it. Should have that all together within the next week.

The 700 is just way to much motor and the kids will never be able to ride it so i will stick with the stock 150 four stroke. I would like to find a junk 400ex that runs and put that engine on it.

It will be caged, that's for sure. We're thinking about going to the junk yard and getting an old bench seat for it with seatbelts. It's mainly going to raced on the river against a few local class A 450 (D/B) racers that always seem to talk chit (they are in there late 30's...

Tires will stay stock, but with studs. It will be enclosed with a heater and a radio so we can rock out while cruising. Helmets will still be worn @ all times while in it.

Our first problem is this. The stock Rear-end is reversed (spins clock-wise when going forward) but luckily there is a company online that specializes in making these carts and all the parts needed to make one yourself. So we will be getting a rear-end from there.

It's possible. We talked about that last night, but never did it. Tonight after work I'll check it out and see.
