Much like I did with my last blog entry and with the recent debates here in the Sport and Performance forum as well as a few new members eager to voice their opinions on performance related topics, I thought it would be appropriate to post my latest blog entry for an open discussion. Read it and lets hear your thoughts.

2 things:
First:
Why new technology has to appear on dirt bikes first rather than quads? i mean quads sales far exceed those of dirtbikes, it makes no sense to me to prioritize dirtbike development over quads.
Secondly:
Will this new design give a dramatic change in performace?, or will only result in meager improvements adding only an edge of performance for the pro crowd?.

Motocross racing has been around since the 40s and has been big alooot longer than quad racing. The total amount of quads sold may be more, but how many being sold are actually sport/racing compared to utes? I don't know any stats but I think its fair to say dirtbike motocross is a bigger market than quads just because it's been around longer.
