How are the HD arms? I was thinking about them but decided to go with Housers on the YFZ instead.

Love em so far. Not the top of the line most adjustable arm out there...but I only paid $200 for the arms and brakelines so I cant complain.

And willie those tires are my sand setup. Slicks on the front work better in sand then a knobbie tire.

Ah... yes alot more complex surgery... I've never heard of any ridiculously long wait times like that though, at most a month or two for a CT scan...

Damn that's a steal...

I got my housers at a decent price... still fairly expensive... I don't know how people can drop $1500 on Walsh and Roll stuff...

Oh some of that stuff is nuts. Im all about bargain buying. A few months back I added up how much $$$ I have into my whole atv project(parts/wheels/tires/etc including parts that I bought and made a profit on). I was suprised to see I have about ~$2500 tied up in EVERYTHING. I then added up what it would have been had I bought new/paid full retail for all those parts and it came to over $4500. Me = king of cheap.

As an avowed trail rider, I can't see investing soo much money in making a quad more race ready. Somewhere on that line you pass the point of investment=return. I want to upgrade my 400ex, but only on the things that make it more enjoyable for me to ride, like tires/wheels/suspension and maybe exhaust. If I want to sell later to buy up, the items I've upgraded may be a selling point, and hopefully not a money pit. One can never recoup what is invested in upgrades for making the machine a hyper racer, or the fastest on the block. So why do it?

RN, like I mentioned I bought almost everything used or HIGHLY discounted. In fact I plan on keeping this thing a long time however if I do choose to get rid of it I'll return it to stock form and can easily recoupe a very large portion of my original investment since, for the ammount of mods I have, I dont have much invested. For me it's a hobby and I find enjoyment in turning wrenches and reeping the benefits. Im always on the lookout for a good deal, heck Im picking up a set of 450R shocks Saturday to resell, do you need a set? If you ever make it down here and we go ride I'll let you take it for a spin.
