I was only kidding....didnt know it really was one of your setups this happened at.

I don't think anyone knew.

I am glad to hear the measures you have to follow CC in order to try to make it as safe as possible for your patrons. Even if it is probably a pain in the butt.

This didn't happen on my unit, and yes, the guy was employed by a vendor who booked in with us. HOWEVER, contrary to the title of this thread, not only did we perform a background check on the guy, but the town of Wilmington ran their own checks on every person working there. The police require a complete list of everyone who works there, so they can do their own checks. Guess what. The kid had no priors....clean as a whistle. You can do background checks all you want. You cannot predict what someone might do in the future. This kid was also a very recent local hire, from Dighton MA..............a greenhorn, so to speak. He could just as well have been working at Wal Mart, or some resort on the Cape. All I know is he will never show his face around our place of business again. We don't appreciate when some young punk phucks up and makes us look bad. I'm just glad our bases were covered, and we had done all the background and CORI checks on the kid.
Didn't mean to infer that you're company didn't do a background check. I meant the vending company itself, that he worked for. I see it all the time in the construction industry. General Contractors hiring sub-contractors, who again hire more sub-contractors. We are finishing up a 5 story building in Lowell MA. The GC hired a bunch of Mexicans to do the service work:general cleanup, washing windows, etc. None of these dopes speak English, constantly stray into the work areas of my machines. I feel like squashing them like bugs with the 80,000lb excavator at times, because they slow our work down. Chris you're companys reputation won't be tarnished by this one a-hole. I've seen first hand, that you run a class act.

"Wilson was arraigned in Woburn District Court on July 6 and was released on $1,000 cash bail. He was ordered to stay away from the victim, witnesses and anyone else under 16 years of age."
