This past Thursday my three year old son Patrick had a terrible accident. He managed to undo the safty clips on the screen of our living room window. He then fell about 12', to the driveway below. He was them taken by mediflight to Mass General Hospital, where I wright this now, on one of theif laptops. He has a severe skull fracture, and a sub-dural hemotoma. It was touch and go, for the first 48 hrs, but he is improving, according to the Doctors. I know I've complained about MA politics, but I have to admit, Boston hospitals are first rate. Tommorow they will be weening him off some of the meds, and hopefully, the resperator. I know I can count on you good people for you're prayers. Thank you.

That is terrible! I will keep him in my thoughts. Bright side is he has a very inquiring mind if he managed to figure out those safety clips, I have a hell of a time with them and I am an adult! Anyways, I hope he bounces back, kids are surprisingly resilient.

Thanks Willie, and everyone else. It's 6:00 am Sunday morning, and we had a pretty good night. Doctors are happy with his progress, and think the breathing tube can come out today. The people here are real Hero's treating these kids, and saving their lives. They deal with adversity and handle stressful situations, better than many combat Veterans I know.
