Hi,

I am new to ATV's. I currently have a 2WD and am looking into purchasing a 4WD.

I have a stupid question regarding the transmisstion on the Yamaha Big Bear 400 IRS 4X4 transmission. The specs say that it has a Constant-mesh five-speed transmission with automatic clutch. The 2WD Honda that I have now has an electonic shift set-up.

My question is this: who do you shift the trannsmissionon the Yamaha, is there a shft lever/pedal or does is shift automatically? I know it sounds stupid but I'm doing some on-line research right now.

Thanks for the help.

You shift it with your left foot like a motorcycle. The clutch disengages with the initial movement of the shift lever.

Calling a illegal immigrant an "undocumented worker" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmicist". Both are criminals!
