Yeah, I've been getting the itch to go out lately, I just don't wanna know what .308 ammo is going for right now.

For those of us that reload, components are almost non-existent. Ammo manufacturers are trying to keep up with the tremendous surge on full-up rounds. Primers are being sold for $100.00 per 1000. Six months ago they were $12.00. California is sold out of almost everything in the ammo area. Some 22 available. Local dealers go to Wal-Mart and buy all they have soon after the freight is unloaded then resell it for twice the price. Pretty sad!!!

I have a very good friend that works in Remington's Ammo division.
I talked to him last week, he said they are making it as fast as they can, working two shift's and trying to figure out how to make more.
I assume people are trying to prepair for whatever happens next in this country. The crime rate is gonna double this fall, people are loosing their jobs at such a rate that America may become the Wild..wild West again.
Ive been stalking up on .45 & 12 Gauge shells since before the election. Im running out of places to put it.

Sir-lance,
Smart move! The ammo will not spoil so get as much as you can.
