I got a new battery for it about a year ago but the power just doesn't seem to make it to the starter. The green ignition indicator light is dim with just the battery, but on charge is bright green. I have no idea where my power is leaking out/ where the bad connection is. Also the solenoid I have on it is off of a 1985 ATC125m so can that be the issue. Also for a replacement which solenoid can I buy atutozone, napa, kragen etc... if I don't want to drop $40 for a oem?
Haven't posted for over a year now lol.
Thanks

Start by checking the battery. Check the electrolyte level, charge on a charger designed for motorcycle/atv batteries. Usually a 2amp output, with auto-shutoff preferred. As far as you're solenoid: bite the bullet and get the oem part, designed for the machine. Here's a link to my oem parts source. $35.00 bucks for you're relay. >>LINK<<. Do it right; one inferior part involving electrical, degrades the whole system. Buy the way; I owned an 05 Wolverine(actually my son's machine). Was a great overall machine, never should have sold it.

Sounds like a regulator/rectifier problem.
Any high current 12V relay will act as a solenoid. A $12 Auto
Zone item will do the job.

What a perfect world it would be; if everyone was a Honda robot. Nothing would ever break down, and we could all live forever. Until the Japs pull the plug.

Fact is, have never had to buy one, no matter who made them, Honda or a Honda vendor.
