You guys should check out Princevaliant's post about Chinese quads.
Here's part of the intro:
Chinese branded atvs are a legitimate part of the market now, are they right for you?
This topic brings up a lot of opinions among ATV enthusiasts on forums and general conversations. Most people form those opinions based not on personal experience, but out right hear-say and just general perceptions either directly or indirectly of any foreign made product. In this article I am going to take a look at what Chinese “off brand” atvs, are and are not, as well as give some tips should you decide to purchase one.

Prince, something you wrote down on your blog caught my attention, you wrote:
"In a lot of cases the Chinese frame geometry/suspension, especially in the youth atvs, it is superior to some of the top brands"
i am wondering where did you get this information from?, i mean, was there a comparison between the chinese and japanese brands? or how exactly you came to this conclusion?.

YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATES ARE JUST AN APOLOGY LETTER FROM THE CONDOM FACTORY!

I should have made that clear that I was talking in general about the "youth" (50-90ccish) quads. As SOME (not all) of the major brand youth quads use antiquated Y-arm front and link-less rear suspensions while a similar sized Chinese atv uses dual A-arm front and link-aged rear suspensions. I am however excluding ATV's like Cobra, LEM, and Apex basically the youth motocross machines. I am comparing to the likes of the Yamaha badger, TRX90 ect... with Chinese atvs such as Xtreme Typhoon, SSR SRQ125R, DRR 50 and 90, PitsterPro FXR. This has been stated in a few ATV magazines that have tested the youth atvs mentioned above. I was in no way trying to imply that the adult sized atvs had superior stock suspension to the major brands. It was a generalized statement that could be worded differently.
The real point of the article was to outline the basics of what to expect from a Chinese atv, and some of the main differences of buying one vs.'s a major brand from a dealer. From my experience most people don't realize how much of a service it is to buy from a dealer and I was just trying to point out general differences, but as I stated Chinese ATVs vary greatly in quality/value per dollar. Bottom line is do your homework before buying.
BTW, thanks for the comment! Its comments like yours that only make my articles better!
