I have the Ct racing single exhaust and it performs great. It has the disc type that you can tune for power and sound. Also get a foam filter intake setup, way safer than a k@n.

look into a yoshimura two bros or hmf i wouldnt get into the dual exhaust for a single cyl engine then your buying more parts and have two mufflers to re-pack and so on... but the 3 slip on exhaust mentioned above are not to expensive even an LRD if you can get it in all stainless steel with no ceramic coating
You don't get any extra performance out of running a slip on pipe vs. pulling the spark arrestor out of the stock exhaust on the rappy. There's dyno graphs to even prove it..

yea but then your exhaust sounds like a tin can, with a slip you can shed a little weight have an exhaust that does not sound like a tin can and it actually has a good tone to it and it only takes about 3 min to install/remove the spark arrestor on an aftermarket exhaust.. but combined exhaust with power comander and airbox mods you will get a HP increase....ofcourse its going to stay the same if all you do to it is rip out the spark arrestor and nothing else dont need a dyno to know that

There are so many choices for Raptor pipes. It's really going to come down to the money and overall results (hp and sound) you want. In addition, I'd say whatever company gives you a good feeling in your gut (when speaking with them and being cooperative and helpful) could make the difference. If you're a customer and treated nicely, that's great. If you're a number (that's not good).
I'm late to this thread, too, but I think Dubach (DRD) has been working with Yamaha for years testing machines and parts. DRD sells a Raptor exhaust as well as its own "mod box.".
Another company you could investigate is Rossier Engineering out of Wisconsin. Rossier has done work with the Power Commander and says it has its own custom maps to go with its pipe.
However, some of the other companies your buds have listed are proven, too.
Check out a Raptor forum, too, to see what other owners suggest.
