I know some of you know of my Malamute I lost back in June to bone cancer. Came as a complete unexpected surprise. He was almost 13.

This weekend..we learn that our 3 fuggin year old dog, Mia (Pug), also has cancer. This is my wife's dog and they are attached to each other with some kind of unbondable glue. She's an awesome dog and we've all grown very attached to her. Well...FUK. It's not looking good. We have an appt. with the Oncologist tomorrow.

Started out we noticed this lump on her left leg. Looks like her leg was swollen at the top part. Took her to the vet, they said the results were non-conclusive and not to worry about it. Bring her back if it gets bigger or if she starts paying attention to it. It never bothered her and didn't seem to be getting any bigger. Well, recently it did get bigger and a small lump on her lower leg developed. Took her back in. Non-conclusive results again. Well, we wanted to know wtf. So did a biopsy. Go fuking figure..stage II cancer.

I can not believe we are going through this again so soon with such a young dog. Gawddammit.

Sorry to hear about your dog.

No matter if it is cancer or something else it is always tough to deal with.

I had to put my twelve year old German Shepherd down because his arthritis got so bad he could not walk. He was my best friend, my partner at work, and a member of our family. Still think about him quite often.

Sorry to hear about that Theman. I am going to be dealing with putting my golden retreiver down in the very near future. It will be the worst day of my life. He is 15 years old. He has been every where with me. From boats in the lake to motor homes at the dunes. He has bad hips, he has a tumor on his arse the size of a silver dollar that is always gross looking and it is always like an open sore, he is constantly licking himself to the point where he is bald in some places, he throws up quite offten. It just kills me to know I am going to have to put him down. I am trying to prolong it because I would prefer for him to have a natural death instead of me haveing to take his life. I will not let him suffer. If he gets any worse I will have to take the nessasary step.

Welcome back Casper!

Damn, maybe someone should shoot at your ex and feed straight habanero extract to his daughter til she pukes, so they can truly know what jerks they both are.

Sorry to hear about your dog Theman. It sucks losing a pet, specially at such a young age. My dogs are both 13, and the one has a small tumor on his "knee" that he keeps licking. I hate putting a good dog down, but sometimes its for the best for you and the dog.
