Thats the bad thing about deer. they eat ur damned crops! but atleast you can still (kind of) make out on it , only in food for family instead of money in pocket.

Any nice bucks?

Friends of mine run a cattle farm in upstate N.Y. At times there would be upwards of sixty deer, herded up, in their fields. When the deer got into their corn for silage fields, they would get the varmit permits. Needless to say, they had 4 freezers, in their basement, full of venison. They also took a couple of corn fed bears. Surprisenly good eating, not gamey at all.
