RE: Scored myself a new trailer

Yup, its all good. The tounge is just bare metal from the paint flaking off. Gravel chipped the hell out of the paint, but no rust damage.

RE: A question we all have seen before

The bearing issue was Pre EFI. The choke plungers stick and flood the crank case with fuel.My motor has 1800 miles on it since I swamped it and it runs as strong as ever.

Only problem I have heard from a front dif was caused by landing a tripple in 4wd. Busted it all to heck.

RE: A question we all have seen before

No limiter on the diff lock. only takes one finger to engage it. Id be pi$$ed if the changed it, works awesome!!!
They dont like hitting water at full speed, but other than that I have not had a problem. Heck I crossed a 8 ft deep creek channel with mine and it wasnt till I got back to the shallow 5 ft water I had issues and that was due to the weight of the cooler on the front rack.(better not try that with stock tires)

RE: A question we all have seen before

I have used the heck out of my Dif lock on my Brute and havent seen any stretch. It dont require much to pull it, So I cant imagine why it would stretch. If you wish to keep it locked in without having to hold it back you can buy a pen-loc for it for about 35 bucks. Very easy to use and easy to install. I wouldnt recomend it ,but you can get it into 4wd while not moving,it makes a nasty clunk, but in a pinch it will go. With the brut you have an infinite amount of mods that can be done IF you need more power, not that you would.

RE: Wilcraft. An Ampibious ATV. Pretty Clever Concept.

They work very well, but the weak link is the axles. They will take alot of abuse, but if its really rough you better take it easy. I would like one for early and late ice since they float.I could add a few weeks to my season that way.

RE: Wilcraft. An Ampibious ATV. Pretty Clever Concept.

Argo would not measure up to what this can do.It raises and lowers itself to allow its user to fish directly on the ice. Have alot more room, with holes in the floor to fish through with the cabin closed to keep out the weather. Not alot of use for one unless your an icefisherman or waterfowl hunter. Not the most durable things in the world, axles bust when the going gets rough.... You can pick them up used for around 5 grand.

RE: $55,000 Dollar ATV

Now thats what I call the perfect icefishing ATV!!!! It would certainly get you out there quick. A lot of guys use Argo's on the big lakes in Maine and NH.LINK. A little slower but with a heated cab, it's worth it. Another benefit: if you break through the ice, you don't sink, their amphibious.
We had 2 to 3 ft of snow on top of 30 inches of ice this season. Getting around without tracks or a snowmobile was impossible. Even the argos were screwed. Just like the bass tourny guys and their big boats, getting to your spot fast is a must when fishing tournies against the best in the region is a must. If I had the cash I would have one for sure....Off to buy a lotto ticket, lol.

RE: Polaris Rzr4....the 4 seater Rzr

I think they should of did this to one of their other utvs then their sportiest model. It is a good idea but defeats the rzr name and purpose.
Its not like they eliminated the 2 seater. This just adds another option for families that have kids too young to ride.

RE: A Shoutout To CC and Prince Valiant. Thank You Guys!

As quiet as it is here I cant imagine it being gone. CC and PV definetly deserve a hand shake for all they have done here. No one person was the demise of this forum, not even willie, it was the hundreds of machine specific forums and the lack of anything new on the market. Im glad I had the privilage of adding my 2 cents when I could. Thanks guys!!!
Hmm, just looked, its been 5 yrs here for me.....
