RE: TrailRex

I didn't mean to spam but standing back and looking at this I kinda did didn't I? I was hoping if I shared something like this you guys would help me find new trails or events to attend because everything around me is closing down and I'm always up for new riding locations and what not. Sorry.
You sound hot...
LMFAO!! Isn't she the one who said she was like 16 and looking for racers to interview for a school paper or something a while back? hahaha

RE: new harley

I love Fat Bob's! I was going to get one last summer, then it was inbetween that or a Crossbones. The bike is awesome, and I think you will love it, and appreciate the nice fat front tire on rough, cracked roads.
keep us posted on what you decide to do.

RE: Planning a trip to the bandlands

Guess I'll be the first to have gone here on the forum? I'm hoping my gf buys me a helmet cam before I go, So I can take some footage. It looks like it's pretty B.A. and from what I've heard it is.

RE: KFX 450R 2008 Lexx Exhaust??

I personally think Slip-on's are a waste of money. Minimal (if any) gain in performance, and that's what you're looking to get out of it. If you Want to see any type of gain worth spending money on, ditch the stock header too, spend the extra few bucks on a full exhaust. you can find good deals on Ebay. Also- if you want to do anything to your motor down the road for an increase in power, you will eventually have to buy a full exhaust so the engine can breathe. so, if I where you, I'd save up a few extra 'beans' and buy the full exhaust. my $.02

RE: Whats wrong with this picture

I am a customer service rep now. I took this phone call the other day, were this guy was asking me for someone that speaks in Spanish for his mom. I told him we did not have anybody that speaks in spanish where I worked. After going back an forth he makes this comment to me "This is America, you have to have someone that speaks spanish there" I again told him I was sorry, but we did not have anybody that speaks spanish. Even though it made me mad, I held my tongue, and think its funny now that he can't get help because he thinks we need to speak spanish.
Welcome to Canada. A lot of places make it mandatory that people speak english AND french. Not to mention the fact that people from the middle east come, and want us to change everything to suit them. (sadly, our government almost always listens to them)
....
http://www.drivetest.ca/en/license/DriverTestingTable.aspx
This is a list of available languages for Ontario's written Driver's test... Maybe it's just me but I don't think I've seen any road signs around here in Somali, Hindi or Finnish, just English and French.
That's kind of scary to see they even offer it in those languages. Chinese, really?! get real people.

RE: Planning a trip to the bandlands

Talked to a buddy of mine today who is coming with. I think we will be going down mid-late august (gives everyone a little more time to save up some money, and get off of work if need be). I didn't know exactly where it was, so I went to the website today and it's a HELL of a lot closer than I thought! It's 208 miles from my house, which is closer than my house up north!! Looks like I will probably be taking some more trips down there throughout the year with it being that close!

Planning a trip to the bandlands

I am trying to gear up a large group of people to go out to the badlands for a weekend (hopefully at the end of this month). I'm trying to get atleast 30 people to come and rip!
Who's been there before? I've never been there before, and would like to know some more about it.

RE: Midwest Riding Locations

In wisconsin, we don't have much for public riding. The best trail system, hands down, is Black River Falls. The problem with those trails is that they are designed for sport quads. (which I personally have no problem with, but I know others do) The trail system is open most of the year, only closing for the thawing season and hunting. They do not allow Dirtbikes out there anymore, which can be a P.I.T.A. depending on who you ride with.
There are also trails in Monroe county that are supposedly really nice.
Other than that, there aren't any other really good trails (that I know of) in the state, it kind of sucks...

RE: Whats wrong with this picture

Canada's 2 native languages are English and French, so that makes a little more sense rather than being in America and being told to speak spanish. Just because we can't close our border doesn't mean we should have to learn another language.
My buddy was going to get a sticker for the back of his truck that I'm sure you've all seen before "welcome to America, now speak English"... how ever, if they don't speak English, 9 times out of 10 they can't read english either. So He told the guy to get it in Spanish.

So.. I've decided.

I've finally decided to go to college. I had some time off to rack up debt, so it's not going to be easy to manage being a full time student and a full time employee, but it's something that I have to do if I want to live the life I want. I know it's going to be rough, but I absolutely hate my job, and I don't want to slave away my whole life in order to make ends meat.

RE: new frame

cheers camo, got price on one here in Oz for $3500, seems a bit rich?
3500 is way too much for a frame, IMO. You can go out and buy a whole other machine for that price these days! Keep searching, and if that's the cheapest you can find you might want to think about buying another one instead, and keeping the 1st on for parts.

If Ebay doesn't have one, Im sure you could go directly to Yamaha and get one, if you can float it money wise,

Yes, I used the spray can. It's called nite shade, by VHT. I think I paid 14 bucks for a can and it's done 2 sets of tail lights, my 450 headlight and tail light, and my buddies 450 head and tail light. it takes 1 hour to dry to touch, and 3 hours to be able to use product. I will be buying more soon, and doing a couple buddies tail lights. If you're looking for a unique look for your ride (what ever it is) it is worth the money.
