RE: Pictures from the WAYBACK machine

Prince I take it that was your Mom on the Yahmaha 60cc? My oldest brother had one of that yr but model I don`t remember.
It would have to have been the same model. Yamaha only made one model of 60cc. As a matter of fact Yamaha only had 10 models in 1966.
One should have been a 90cc because my oldest brother had a friend that had one that was a little bigger than his that he worked with delivering news papers back in the sixtys.
Still have old 8mm film of my oldest brother and passengers he took riding on our neighborhood streets.

RE: Pictures from the WAYBACK machine

Over 30 I know you was just a teenager back then but were you required to shave your legs for some kinda sporting events ?
Your not looking close enough, you'll have to put your nose right next to the monitor then you can see the hair.
Just picking at you Over30. Just had to throw that in there to see if I could get a laugh out of you.:)

RE: How it all became...my experiences with various atv's

Excellent reading,(as always), Prince. Like the way you wrote it in somewhat of a chronological order. It's as if you see the evolution of sport machines, on paper. You mentioned an article on three wheelers. I'd be interested in reading that, if you could link it up, at you're convenience. I remember my first three-wheeler ride. A 84+-, Yamaha 225S. At the time everyone thought it was the "Cat's Azz", but in reality, it was an underpowered, top heavy, widow-maker. I remember running over my own feet, within the first 5 minutes of riding it. Most everyone had that experience,"back in the day". Coming off dirt bikes, and climbing on those newfangled contraptions.
Grey Grizz the 225 was a pretty good machine but I smoked one with my Honda 250 sx that was stock with my friend having a D&G pipe and a carb kit to boot on his 225.

RE: Pansys are in bloom here and its not spring yet.

Swampy: Did you take any deer? Roll Tide!
Took three ! Ist doe I took was named Nancy because she acted like a ***** towards every deer in the herd and pushed all of the others off the corn because she wanted all of it for herself and blowed just for the h*ll of it just to spook all the others.
Doe #2 was named Harry because of so much hair jetting out from the inside of the ears that it had to be tone deaf to everything else going on around it and just did not pay much attention to what was important in life besides feeding itself just like Nancy was doing.
Buck #1 was a nine point that I had no name because he bust out into the open like he owned the world and I beliveve he was chasing Nancy, and Harry for favors that they just could not deliver in a short term chase. He looked pretty worn out when he stepped onto the power line that was being supplied by a clean burning natural gas power plant so I put him in the freezer so he would not breed with Nancy and Harry and bring Harry eared b*tches into the world that don`t listen, think about nothing but themselves and have short term mating seasons in November.:)

RE: Pansys are in bloom here and its not spring yet.

It appears that the Republicants are attempting to commandeer the Tea Party movement, even though it started out as a totally party independent movement.
If this does indeed happen, the stated goals and ideals of the Tea Party will become polluted with the Liberalism that pervades both parties currently. And our Tea Party will become just another branch of the Republicant party, which I do not want to see happen, since it will surely cause the loss of many independents and moderate Democraps. If however, the Tea Party becomes the main
arm of the Republicant party, the driving force so to speak, perhaps we can retain the Constitutionalist ideals and convert the Republicants to our way of thinking. People like John McCain will need to denounce their Liberal tendencies
or be voted out of office by true Conservatives.
Hopefully Obama's rampant Socialism will drive most Americans away from Liberal ideals and back to the roots of this countries founding; That of individual responsibilities and freedoms, the Constitutional power of the States, and very limited Federal government.
Woods some will not see the light but I belive the mast majority will and the days of putting the minority first will end because they never will adhere to anything the Constitution stands for and we will have to make changes to insure it still stands for people that believe it still represents what this country was founded on and that it should be our guiding light to put this country back on the right path and any oppose it should be cast out to countrys that share their communist, facist, muslim ways of thinking.
Would this be ethinic clensing ? Lets try and write books about it twenty yrs down the road on either failer or prosperity.

RE: Is this thing on???

I think we all are to busy dealing with a falling economy that we do have a bit of depression on our minds and don`t feel like getting in here everyday or night and having a bull*hit session because it is evermore present in our day to day lives. Just my oppninon!
Main thing is to spend quality time with familey and friends through the hump and if you feel like it on your good days get in here and mix it up with everybody else on this site to either help them, shoot the sh*t, or just have a knock down drag-out in the fight club to relieve stress.
I can help with relieving stress in the fight club. Have outhouse stick will travel is my motto.:)

RE: What did the election in Mass. say?

Beck had some info about BHO had over 300 pics of himself displayed through-out the East and Right wing of the office instead of the more traditional pics of Presidents past like George Washington and all the others.
And that they change them all out within thirty days with new ones of bho. Does this in anyway tell you of his bloated ego and arrogence towards the people he is suppose to represent.
The people have had enough of this bull$hit they are trying to shove down our throats and the elections of November will tell the tale of who you want to represent you in office.

RE: There's a vacuum cleaner salesman in my living room....

I have an aunt that sells Rainbow vacuums... they mark up those things like crazy. She makes several hundred dollars per sale, if I remember correctly.
Oh, hey guys! hahaha. Long time no see.
Rainbow does a good job on cleaning but having to deal with water disposal and what comes with it is a mess. We bought one about ten yrs ago and it played out three months ago thank goodness!
It was almost like having to set up a commercial steam cleaner to just vacuum the house.

Congrats on the new ride CC! But it lacks usage apperiance in the pic. No bent handle bars or warped floor plates, anything like that is not present.
Bring it to S. Ar and we will break it in right!;)
Ohhh, just give me time Swampy....give me time. LOL
I see a comparison test in your future and reluctant test results. Either way it will be interesting on the out come you post.

RE: Attn. Polaris owners

Anyone have the newer style sportsman 400's? I have an 08. The headlight bulb burned out. Polaris charges $42.00 plus tax for it. I come to learn that no one but polaris has this light bulb. I work in the automotive industry and tried every parts house, dealer and online supplier i know, and no one can get it. But if you spend $52.00 plus tax you can buy a housing with bulb for a 2010 trail boss and it fits exactly. The housings are identical except for the "socket" for the bulb. I put an 894 pigtail on the machine and its good as new. Now a replacment bulb only costs 8 bucks. How stupid can polaris be?
Go the red neck way ! Buy a set of trapozied tractor lights and mount just above the existing lights on both of your front finders for about 28.00 $ and tell everybody that inquires that you won a racing event in the last Baja event with them at night. ;)

RE: What's Your Favorite Big Bore?

My 660 Grizz was king of the hill in the later part 2001 in our deer camp an two years later 700 king quad took the title on take off and top end but not on trail performance and deep water crossings.
Now if Yahmaha would take one of thier twin bore street bike designs and apply it to a atv we would all be talking about Yahmaha in a big bore comparison totally diffrently.
Throw out there a 1100 cc motor with the ride a Grizz has and their power steering design ! They will have me as a buyer before it hit the show room floor.

RE: So...What Do U Think Of Those Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders???

Hot or not, every one of them would annoy the h3ll out of the average fella after 2 years. "Do i look fat, where were you, i have cramps, i dont like your friends, your friends dont like me, i need a new lexus, do i look bloated, that guy at the gym is just a friend.......
...and the worst one of all..........."Don't get any on my face. My makeup took over an hour today."
If I could get that far with a Dallas cheerleader I would have to say dam the make-up full stream ahead.:B

RE: Pansys are in bloom here and its not spring yet.

I would enjoy a snow ride on the Grizz but if we get anything it most likley be a freezing rain and that meens downed power lines and maintaining a generator plus keeping a wood fire going. Country boy can survive but he does not have much time to play.

RE: Pansys are in bloom here and its not spring yet.

I see the fight club hasn't changed much. The other parts of the forum sure have gotten smaller though.
Ride to live.
Good Lord! Where have you been???
Same place I have been: Elsewhere.
Swampy, both my Hondoes are running fine. In fact the Rincon is running stronger than ever. Broke the 6000 mile mark on it last summer.
I see cc has finally wised up and got another Hondoes for his riding enjoyment. :B
Guess we all have to go back to what really works for us. 6000 mi already ! From one ol fart to another you have had that Rincon in the wind and everything else inbetween most likley. Last I looked the Grizz was hosting 4200 because after deer season it goes into hibernation until spring.
