RE: what 4x4 4 wheeler to buy

Im new to this site but have been around wheeler for a while grew up with polaris everything from a trailboss 250 to a sportsman 700 . im currently looking at wheelers but dealers tell me to stay away from a polaris dont really know why they have told me to look at yamaha and can am i really like the sportman 500 ho specially for the price $5900 then i looked at the grizzley 450 $ 7800 and the big bear 400 $ 5800 i really think the can am are over priced since the 400 is about $8500 i also checked out the hondas rancher 420 $6200 but no independent rear suspension. now as far as what ill use it for i have a trail behind mower , hunting , snow plowing , and fun go on tons of rides all over the place from snirt runs to full out all mud . now i have a dealer that sells everything and another that sells kawaski and yahmaha they both say go with the big bear but to me since i ahve ran a big bore machine a 400 seems small but they both tell me it will do anything the big bore will do? i know the sportsman 500 will since ive seen what they can do . can anyone please help me with what to choose i dont know why dealers say stay away from a polaris but they have me wondering and i dont know much about other wheelers any help will be appriciated A Polaris Sportsman 500HO for $5900, doesn't seem like a bad deal at all. Their ride is great, and their fairly quick for a big machine. But they are somewhat more problematic than a Honda or Yamaha. If you don't need a fast machine, either the Honda 420, or the Yamaha Big Bear 400, Both have been updated in recent years, and both have reputations as bulletproof, simpler designs. They also handle work very well, as their geared transmissions compensate for their lower CC engines. Also check out Suzuki's King Quads, Suzuki usually has some great deals on year-end left-over models. Take you're time, test ride, and think it out.

RE: Alabama jobs

I was offered a job a few weeks ago, running a front end loader for a big materials corporation. The company's name is Aggregate Materials Inc, one of the bigger outfits, here in the Northeast. Unfortunately, I would have had to cross a Teamsters picket line, to work. They were striking because the company cut all their hours down to 28 1/2, just under the minimum to receive benefits, from them. My Brother was in the Teamsters for 14 years, and said they don't take kindly to scabs. They used to follow people home, then harass them, and their families. Not my idea of a good time. And not only that, a company that would treat their employees like that; would certainly do it again, in the future. Unions and Corporations: two corrupt parties, both using us as pawns, for their own gains.

RE: All around ATV

The Arctic Cat diesel 700 is the most capable work oriented machine out there. But as Camo stated (a sport machine rider) any 4x4 big bore will get the job done. The Polaris big displacement machines would be a close second. With their stout frames, and high towing capacity, they handle work loads well. Are you sure that Cat has improved their. Also I still pull a lot of Popo's A diesel engine is still the most capable engine as far as putting power to the ground. I would rather see a manual or semi manual trans, rather than the CVT, but low rpm torque go's to a diesel, bear, as far as work,it surpasses you're mighty Can Am v- twins.

But my Dad did say at D-Day, most Canadian causalities were caused by drownings, because they forgot their swimmies.
The Canadians were the only invading force to capture its objective on D-Day. (read your history books)
Your father seeing humor in thousands of vets taking their last breath while clutching pictures of families they would never see again is remarkable. My Father didn't see humor in any aspect of that day. He was at Omaha beach dragging dead and wounded people off the beach. He was a pharmacists mate, a Navy term for a Medic. I apologize for my comments. The Canadians and British did well securing a port city that had an estimated 3000 defenders. They were able to have tea at four o'clock. Omaha beach beach on the other hand had about 4000 causalities by noon time. But all that fought deserve respect.

what do expect from largest gold holder in the world, most of it stolen, by the Spanish, for the church. Their gold repository makes Fort Knox look like a broom closet.
When the queers take over they will certainly want to get revenge on the church. When this happens they will burn all the bibles and return the gold to the fags and cross dressers! I think i'm gonna get the bomb shelter ready and order another pallet of ammo. I thought you would have more respect for the Canadian Military than that. But my Dad did say at D-Day, most Canadian causalities were caused by drownings, because they forgot their swimmies.

RE: What's Wrong With The Judical Branch of Government.

Christians are against gay marriage because they believe gayness is wrong to start with. The Bible says "lay not with another man". But let us remember that the Bible was written by men, not God. The ideas set forth are those of men, as they were interpreted by men. The 10 Commandments are the only rules laid down directly by God. The rest were made up by men of the churches and Synagogues.
IF God is the all knowing, all loving, all forgiving entity the writers of the Bible say he is, then he will hate no one for any act they commit. HE would not be capable of hate. Only WE are capable of such an emotion. God can be angered, as seen in the case of the flood, and of Lot's wife. But then again, both of those stories were written by men, not God. The teachings and acts of Jesus, in which he only was provoked to anger once in his entire life, points more to the temperment of God than does the Old Testament, where God was depicted as vengeful and easily riled. The whole idea of a vengeful God was used to make people tow the line, walk the straight and narrow path. Hence the saying "God will get you for that", and the Bible passage "Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord". It's actually more on the order of 600 Commandments, in which Moses was given by God. The Catholic church omitted most of them, when they edited the books of the Bible, and left many out, to better suit their needs, not mans. But what do expect from largest gold holder in the world, most of it stolen, by the Spanish, for the church. Their gold repository makes Fort Knox look like a broom closet.

There's no new corporations and work moving in around here. Except for the new drive in Sonic, a few towns over. But I'm to old to be on roller skates.Tax incentives, and Union busting...that will get you new business! 'Bama is good at doing that... We are open shop, and companies flock to get the incentives. I'm thinking about re-opening my Greenhouse business, under a new entity. There is some great incentives for new businesses, and the tax wright-offs are sweet. And, I'm sick of making money for other unappreciative people.

RE: Rhino Starting

I have done most everything you guys have posted.Primo gas, choke it,pump gas peddle. Yes it is a 660.I have a filter that is under the hood, and would be hard to get a starter fluid in it. I was wondering about the fuel falling back into the tank after along time sitting? I assume you're tank is at a lower height than you're carb, if you suspect drainback. Maybe installing a check valve, inline, between the tank and the carb, would help. Make sure you close you're petcock valve, every time you park it, especially during storage. Also Bear's advise about the Stable additive is sound. I add 4oz every tankful, along with 4oz Marvel Mystery oil(love the stuff). Never had a carb problem. Don't know how many miles you have on the Rhino; but after about 1000, the 660 engine starts and warms up smoother. But as BR stated, they are still inherently cold blooded engines.

RE: What's Wrong With The Judical Branch of Government.

My 2 cents: This whole gay "marriage" thing is just another attempt by the Liberal Progressives (read DEMOCRATS) to undermine the morals and sensibility
of America, and a further attempt to devalue the nuclear family as we all know it. It has been going on for decades, starting with LBJ's signing of the child welfare acts, and this is the latest assault. Break down the family and the society breaks down, which is precisely what is happening. And exactly what they want.
I could give a big rats azz if 2 rug-lickers or fudge packers want to get "married", just don't make it a legal marriage. Marriage is a union of a man and a woman, as defined above, for the purpose of raising children, and is a sacred privileged. It should not be degraded to a union of queers. Thank you, Woodsi. At least someone has a clue as to what's going on. Everything you said about the de-moralizing of America, is true. I personally think the spread of cable TV has also played a big part in it. More national exposure for the San Fran Fairies, and Rosie O'Bulldykes. Not to mention the self righteous, elitist, actors, living in fantasy land.

RE: What's Wrong With The Judical Branch of Government.

You all make valid points, and are all entitled to you're opinions, as am I. Everyone with at least a grain of goodness, cares for the welfare of children. I'm not saying people who are gay are inherently bad people, but I still don't condone gay adoption. One of my friends is a manager at a ski resort in Vermont. He moved up there maybe 20 years ago, after his then wife turned into a radical Jehovah's witness follower. His brother is a gay man, which is obvious by his appearance, mannerisms, and self declaration. I've known him since he was about 12 years old, but I've never had an issue with him. He doesn't push or flaunt his lifestyle. Well, he moved to Vermont, to work with his brother, because several years ago after he was severely beaten, and his partner killed in an attack. I don't support any physical harm to any race or culture, unless provoked. But radicals of these groups, are the instigators of these actions. The Al Shartons, and Rosie O'Donnals.

RE: What's Wrong With The Judical Branch of Government.

Where is everyone, hiding in their closets? At least pretend you've got a set off balls!
most of us probably have better things to do than bish about other people's personal life's.
It's called a personal life for a reason and you shouldn't be worried in the least about what other people do. If someone likes a person of the same sex, who cares. Does it really bother you that much? you say it will affect children from witnessing it, or being raised around it, but it wont affect your children since you are a heterosexual and most are mature(old) enough to know what they feel is right or wrong. If you care that much about this issue, why don't you bring it to you local government instead of whining to people around here who could give a rats ass.Well I guess you've been brain-washed into believing it's perfectly acceptable behavior. Too bad, in the future you're kids school books, will depict scenes of anal sex, being perfectly acceptable, in mainstream society. And that's just fine with you? Put down the electronic gadgets, the x-box/PlayStation, and get in touch with the real world, not a cg one. When I was 19, I was married with a kid. Those were my priorities, not the latest style of cell phone on the market, or the newest video game. These people are impacting you're future, and you're kid's future's, and you have no clue of it.
If I remember my school correctly, I don't think they depicted any sexual acts. In health class, they talked about STDs and what not, but nothing sexually specific. I am not one to really say if it's right or not, and neither are you. Like I said, it's called a personal life for a reason, so why dig into other people's live's that much? I, personally, don't have enough time in my day to worry about anyone else's life other than my own and my families. And as far as the whole "video game" or "newest cell phone" goes, I have bills to be paid and money to be made.
Let me ask you a question, think hypothetically. Would you bash your own child if he/she where to tell you they liked the same sex? if so, you'd be one chitty parent, IMO.I would always love my kids no matter what. But, if any of them were gay, I would not support them adopting a child. You're very confrontational about you're beliefs, Camo; I like that about you. But you have to review you're objectives, before you jump into battle. That's been my whole point. I can put up with alternate lifestyles, if they keep it low key, and behind closed doors. But in recent years they have been throwing it in our face, and making a mockery of traditional marriages, between a man and woman. Then claiming the same right to adoption. It's wrong for any child, to be throw into, then to be raised in an un-natural environment. Because through that, they too become, un-natural. Abomination procreation 101.

RE: I got stuck, video included

good point grey griz if he did that in mass not only would he be sent off to a super max prison but the libs would bring back the death penalty and let free a illegal alien child rapist to make room for poor ole warrior kid for his hainess crimes against the people of cambridge beautiful earthI think that was already done, during the Dukakis administration, another out of touch Liberal Governor. In the late 70's, and early 80's, we used to crash through areas like that; with lifted Jeeps and heavily modded pick-ups. The places would be completely torn up. But every following year, the area would look untouched again, and the plants looked thicker than the year before. Nature is tougher than people think, the bureaucracy's need reasons to justify their budgets, and their existence.
